How to Transfer PDF to iPhone

With the launch of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus, more and more people use their iPhone as an eBook Reader. With iBooks app, it’s easy to store and read eBooks that purchased from iBook Store or elsewhere. This app also supports viewing PDF file.Now the problem is how to transfer PDF to iPhone?
If you have just a few PDFs, you can copy them to your iPhone by using email. If, however, you have a lot of PDFs or several very large PDF files, email is not a good choice.

iPhone Transfer, which has become one of my favorite tools to quickly add files from computer to my iPhone, makes it super easy to transfer PDF files to iPhone. Tutorial 1: Transfer PDF to iPhone with iPhone Transfer

Step 1. Run iPhone Transfer and connect iPhone to computer
After downloading, installing and starting iPhone Transfer, you will see the following window when your iPhone has been connected to computer.

Tips: Make sure iTunes and iBook are pre-installed.

Step 2. Add PDF to iBooks
Add PDF to iBooks is simple: Click "Books" in the left sidebar of the program. Then click "Add" and select "Add File" or "Add Folder". In the pop-up windows, choose the PDF files that you want on your computer. Finally, click "Open" to transfer PDF to iPhone. Make sure the transfer has completed before disconnecting.

Tips: As you can see the window of the program, you can also export or delete PDFs.

Tutorial 2: Add PDFs to iBooks with iTunes

1. Open iTunes. Click "File" >Add Files to Library. A dialog box opens.

2. Choose the PDF files that you want to import on your computer. Then, click "Choose" to import them to iTunes. You can click "Books" under "Library" in the left pane of the iTunes window to see the list of your imported PDF files.

3. Now, connect your iPhone with the computer via a USB cable.

4. Choose your iPhone to enter the iPhone management mode. In the new window, click the Books tab to show PDF files in iTunes.

5. Select Sync Books. If iTunes is set to sync only selected books, select the checkbox next to the PDF you want to sync.

6. Click "Apply".

That's how to use iTunes to transfer PDF to iPhone. You can first add PDF files to iTunes and then sync them to your iPhone. If you want to transfer PDF to iPhone directly, you can use iPhone Transfer. iPhone Transfer can add PDFs to iBooks directly from PC to iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Moreover, it can transfer ePub to iPhone in the same way.
