How to Set up and Configure Notifications on Your iPad

Notification center on iPad can notify you when there're reminder on your calendar, inbox on your mail and messages or any other update info of the app if you've enabled the service of the app before. To check the notification, you just need to swipe down from the top of the screen and check it. Now I will show you how to turn on/off notification on iPad and how to add widget to notification center.

Part 1: Steps to Turn on/off Notifications on iPad

Follow the below step to set up and configure notification of apps on your iPad:
1. Tap the "Settings" icon on your Home interface.
2. Tap "Notifications" in the left side of the screen.

Tap into the app you want, take "Messages" for example, you will see the below window. Turn on "Allow Notification" on the screen and it's added to the notification list.

Note: Now I will show you what options provided above is for
In the "Show in Notification Center", you are allowed to choose none, 1, 5, or 10, which is to configure the show up app in the Notification when you swipe down the screen to check the notification.
In the "Sounds" option, you can choose ringtone or alert tone to play whenever you get the notice from the app. Other customized sounds are supported on the Phone, Mail, Messages, and Calendar app.
The "Badge App Icon" option: If it is turned on, a red number will appear on the lower-right corner of the app icon.
"Show in Lock Screen" option: If you want to check the app notification even if your iPad screen is locked. If you highly value your privacy, I would like to advise you not to turn this on.

Part 2: How to Add Widgets to Notification Center

1. Open Notification Center by swiping down from the top of the interface in home screen.
2. Scroll down to the bottom. And tap "Edit" as you saw in the below window.

After that, you will see the iPad apps included in Notifications such as Today Summary, Tomorrow Summary, Calendar, Reminder, and moremt, as well as the third-party apps. For example, if you want to exclude Tomorrow Summary, you can just tap the red "-" next to the app and it will be moved to the DO NOT INCLUDE list, and if you want it back, just click the green "+" button on the screen.
