iPod Data Recovery: How to Restore iPod Data

Step 2.Scan your iPod 5/4
Directly click "Start" button to start scan files on your iPod 5/4. However, if you are a iPod 4 user, you should follow these steps to access your device file system before scanning.

1. Hold your iPod touch 4 and click the "Start" button in iSkysoft iPod touch Data Recovery for Mac.

Tutorial 2: Restore Lost iPod Data from iTunes Backup

Step 1.Select your iPod model and recovering iPod data from iTunes backup file
This method works without connecting your iPod to your Mac. After selecting your iPod model and clicking the "Recover data from iTunes backup files" button, you'll see all found iTunes backup files on your Mac.
Step 2.Select the wanted iTunes backup file
In order to extract iPod data in the selected iTunes backup files, you should select an iTunes backup from the list and click “Start Scan” button. Or in other way, you can just double click an iTunes backup files and it will start extracting files automatically.

After scanning, lost items will be displayed in the specific category on the left, check the items that you want to recover and click “Recover” button to retrieve them immediately.
