How to Enter and Exit DFU Mode of iPhone

Maybe you have heard of DFU Mode (Development Firmware Upgrade) which actually means the mode of compulsively updating or degrading iPhone firmware. For instance, when you degrade iPhone firmware, if Error 1 or Error 6 happens, you need to make your iPhone enter the DFU Mode to degrade the firmware during the process of retrieving or degrading it.
Here I will talk about the way to enter and exit DFU Mode. Considering the possibility of data loss during this process, I also mention three easy and effective ways to retrieve those data by using iPhone Data Recovery.

Tutorial 1: How to Enter and Exit DFU Mode of Your iOS Device

Part one: How to Enter DFU Mode

Here are two useful and workable ways for you to operate the process to enter the DFU mode of your devices.
Method 1:
Step 1. Connect your iPhone to the computer.
Step 2. Turn your iPhone off.
Step 3. Press the "Power" button on the top of your iPhone for 3 seconds.
Step 4. Press the "Power" and "Home" buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds.
Step 5. Release the "Power" button and keep pressing the "Home" button.
Step 6. Let your finger pressing on the "Home" button go when the computer finds new hardware and iTunes detects you’re your iPhone has entered the recovery mode. After that, your iPhone succeeds in enter DFU Mode.

Method 2:
Step 1. Connect your iPhone to the computer.
Step 2. Press the "Power" and "Home" buttons at the same time.
Step 3. Release the "Power" button 3 or 5 seconds after your phone screen becomes black.
Step 4. Let your finger pressing on the "Home" button go when the computer finds new hardware and iTunes detects you’re your iPhone has entered the recovery mode. After that, your iPhone succeeds in enter DFU Mode.

Part 2 How to Exit DFU Mode

Press the "Power" and "Home" buttons at the same time until the logo of Apple appears.

Tutorial 2: How to Get Back Lost Data from iDevice

Step 1. Connect your iPhone 7/7 Plus to the computer. Run the iPhone Data Recovery and choose a suitable way.

Note: If you choose "Recover from iCloud Backup File", you have to sign in your Apple account before using this way.

Step 2. Click "Start Scan" to scan the backup files you choose and preview them in categories.
