Tutorial 1: Backup iPhone Photos to PC
Step 1. Install the program and connect iPhone to PC
When iPhone Transfer is downloaded, install and launch it on your computer. Then, connect iPhone to the computer with a USB cord. The software will automatically detect your iPhone and show the libraries of your iPhone in the left sidebar.
Note: Windows version and Mac version work in a same way. Thus, here, I just take the Windows version as an example.
Step 2. Click to show photos in Camera Roll, Photo Library
Choose
"Photos" in the left sidebar and then the photos will be shown in the right part. Then, check Photos in
Camera Roll,
Photo Library etc. Choose any photos you want and preview them one by one.
Step 3. Export photos from iPhone
Click
"Export to">
"Export to PC". This will bring up a small browser window for you to choose a save path to store the exported photos.
Tutorial 2: Backup iPhone Photos to iCloud
Apple allows you to backup photos to its iCloud service. It is also quite easy, but please note that there is only 5GB iCloud space is free and you aren’t able to restore individual photos from your iCloud backup. You can backup photos to iCloud by going to:
Open
Settings>Tap on
iCloud>Tap on
Storage & Backup>Ensure that
iCloud Backup is enabled >Tap on
Back Up Now.
