How to Back up and Restore Your iPad with iTunes

After the releasing of iOS 8.4 and iOS 9 Beta 3, your iPad must ask you to update your iPad operating system. There are lots of changes of these operating systems which attract Apple fans, for example iOS 9 beta 3 can create an individual folder to save screenshots and selfies which brings convenience for us to find certain photos. However, how to save your valuable screenshot or other data on your iPad may be a problem. In fact, iTunes can give hands to back up and restore iPad data practically, including music, apps, videos, photos, contacts, calendars, messages, etc.

How to Back up iPad to iTunes

1. Launch iTunes on your computer and then, connect your iPad to iTunes with USB cable.
2. Select your device icon on the top and press “Summary” on the left sidebar. Click “This computer” and “Back up Now” on the Backups area.

3. You will be asked to back up apps and transfer purchases in the following small windows. Click “Back Up Apps” and “Transfer Purchases” to attempt to back up as much as possible on your iPad.

Notes: “Back Up Apps” could copy your apps data and installation package. In addition, it is safe to choose “Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically” with clicking “ Edit” > “Preferences” > “Devices” lest your iPad data may be erased by iTunes.

How to Restore iPad with iTunes

Method 1.

1.Connect iPad to iTunes and select “Summary” to restore backup from iTunes with pressing “Restore Backup”.

2.The next screen will require you to choose a backup file from the all. Finally, press “Restore” to regain your iPad data from iTunes.

Only after a few minutes, can you make your iPad get your previous data back successfully. Therefore, do not wory about losing data after upgrading your iOS or transferring from the old iPad to the new one.

Method 2.
However, iPhone Data Recovery is a good tool to solve the problem like restoring iPad. With the help of it, you can easily extract your iTunes backup and retrieve deleted or lost photos for your iPad. The steps follow:
1.After installing the software on your computer, launch it then. Click "Recover from iTunes Backup File" on the top of the window and click "Start Scan" to extract it.

2.When the scan is over, you can choose Camera Roll or Photo Stream to preview the photos in your iTunes backup, and click "Recover" to save them on your computer.

In addition to recover iPad with iTunes, there are other two ways. One is getting backup files from iCloud and other one is restoring iPad device directly. Both of them can get back iPad data.
