How to Add PDF to iPad

Recently, I sent my friend a PDF copy of Devoted In Death, by J. D. Robb. However, she couldn't figure out how to add this PDF file to her iPad Air 2. Though it's very simple to transfer PDF to iPad for the experienced, it is not so obvious to people who are new to iOS. Step 1. Connect iPad to computer
Download and install iPhone Transfer on your computer. Then, connect iPad to PC and start the program. Please note that iTunes must already be installed on your computer for running this program correctly. But you do not have to run iTunes. And you also need to install iBooks to transfer PDF or ePub eBooks.

Step 2. Put PDF to iPad
Go to the left panel of the program, highlight "Books" tab, then you'll find these options: Add, Export to, Delete which enables you manage your iPad eBooks easily. Click Add > Add File/Add Folder and select the PDF files from computer and then put them onto iPad.

Note: If you need to transfer PDF between two iOS devices, please connect both the devices to the computer. Then, click "Export to" to transfer PDF from the source device to the target device.

Good news: If you want to delete useless PDF files on your iPad to free up space, you can do it by selecting the files you don’t need and tapping "Delete".
